Leading lines are lines that draw your eyes to the main subject, in and throughout the picture. In this picture the designated leading line is the mop stick which leads up to the mop head and deeper throughout this picture. The purpose of the leading line is to show the viewers all the extraordinary lines of the tree. Like the tree branches.
