Social Issue

My social issue is letting go of non beneficial past and present situations, people, objects, ideas to improve your own personally growth as a person, whether that be physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and so on. Moving from any negative situation is never easy but is always best. Most people do not move on because although where they are is not where they want to be it is where they are most comfortable. I chose this picture of a little girl about to release her herself from the comfort of the bar to slide down on the slide to portray her current mental and physical state at the moment which is still where she is most comfortable(on the bar). Although everyone, even her, knows that as soon as she slides down she will be satisfied within herself but because letting go is daring and sliding down is exciting she still is there siting waiting for herself to be okay with moving on. Now notice that what this picture could be called is a "before picture" it does not have any "after picture". I didn't make a after picture for this before picture for a specific reason. Which is to convey that usually when waiting around to get comfortable enough to let go and have the best for your situation it doesn't happen. I choose the statement, "Now is time to let go" because waiting around is not going to get you anywhere but right at the same place. If you don't let go now it is likely that you never will. relating my picture and statement to a child's point of view where every person has had before it should be simple to get the concept that I'm trying to give.
